Hooks Book Events in Publishers Weekly!

http://www.publishersweekly.com/article/CA6686608.html?industryid=47144

Check out the link and read about Hooks Book Events in a recent issue of Publishers Weekly! The article seemed timed perfectly with the opening of our new Boston Office. We also were able to meet the PW writer, Judith Rosen when were in Boston last week; she biked in (with helmet) to meet us in Cambridge for a celebratory cocktail! We were also pleased to read in the article about all sorts of innovative book sellers out there keeping good books flowing to all sorts of venues. It was particularly rewarding to share ink with our good pal, Kim Ricketts from Seattle. PPH

Hooks Book Events Goes to Boston-September 2009

Hooks Book Events has opened in Boston! Bean Town has been on our radar for a while and when former Harvard University Press Publicity Maven, Mary Kate Maco became available, we jumped on the chance to have her run the office there. With so many amazing writers in the area as well as a large corporate sector, we believe Boston is a good fit for our business model. If you are interested in learning more about our Boston operation, please contact Mary Kate at marykate@hooksbookevents.com. Keep watching the site for more updates about our exciting Boston venture.
